Artist Biography:

Georgia Arben-Crowther is an artist with a BFA from the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford.

Multidisciplinary and social, her practice is an ecosystem of participatory art, ceramic sculptures, murals and poetry. Her work dissects art as a transformative tool to present new models of creativity across healthcare settings. Rooted in concepts of psychodynamic theory and coexistence with nature, she explores concepts of loss, end of life and the intrinsic earthly desire to be held, nurtured and loved. She is currently training to be an Art Psychotherapist, with the Corinne Burton Student Scholarship at Goldsmiths, London. She is currently completing her training at St Bartholomew's Hospital (London) and teaching ceramics for vulnerable young people and adults.

Artist Biography:

Niall Cullen is a multidisciplinary, disabled choreographer and dancer. He graduated from Brunel in 2001 with a modern drama course degree specialising in experimental dance theatre. Niall furthered his studies at Candoco’s professional training course for disabled dancers.

He is the Creative Director of Preface Morn, an integrated dance theatre company working with disabled and able-bodied performers. PrefaceMorn focuses on making the world inclusive for visually impaired and neurodivergent people. The company aims to dispel body stereotypes and society's taboos through performance. PrefaceMorn also focuses on being a platform for artistic expression and development for its collaborators.

Artist Biography:

Ella Holappa is a freelance dance artist. She studied at London Contemporary Dance School (2018-2021) and now works between Finland and the UK. Holappa is part of The MOŸ MOŸ collective and a member of Reality Research Centre. Holappa’s work includes site specific pieces as well as performances in a traditional theatre setting. Holappa is currently working on a DYCP grant developing new methods and tools to navigate the industry as a neurodivergent producer & open up access for other neurodivergent artists. Holappa’s work has been funded by different organisations such as Arts Promotion Center Finland, Finnish Cultural Foundation, Finnish Institute TelepART, KulttuuriKauppila, London Performance Studios, Early Career Space Ugly Duck and Arts Council England. In her work, Holappa is interested in thinking about the conceptual and experiential accessibility of contemporary dance. Holappa is interested in perceiving dance performances as a form of producing knowledge into our world. She sees art has the potential to open people’s minds to seeing the world in different ways. For example she is very interested in the differences between non-verbal and verbal communication and the different amounts of value that are placed on them in our society. She believes dance can unveil the importance of non-verbal communication and the knowledge the body carries kinaesthetically. In her work, she focuses on recognizing and communicating boundaries and maintaining a continuous dialogue on themes related to consent.

Artist Biography:

Florencia Riverti is a dance artist from Argentina working as a performer, facilitator and choreographer. She is passionate about improvisation and uses it to flip around perception and do uncivilized dancing. Flor co-founded the MOŸ MOŸ Collective, a non-hierarchical ensemble where seven female artists collaborate, as well as the I;N Collective with whom she performs electrifying improvisation. She has performed on tour with Truefit collective and choreographers like Max Maxwell. Her work has been supported by S’ALA - spazio per aritst* (IT), Ugly Duck (UK) & Association Ah? (FR). Her teaching journey includes Sadler's Wells company of elders workshops of her practice FLIPPING AROUND at Cyprus Improv Lab, London Performance Studios and The Burgeon, as well as facilitating classes for young people at Highgate Ballet School, Creative arts Kids and Tempo Dance.

Artist Biography:

Robyn is a dance performer and teacher based in Buckinghamshire. Working with contemporary dance, improvisation, yoga and breath work to promote inclusive and engaging spaces, Robyn has taught workshops for companies such as Buckinghamshire Youth Dance, Hothouse Dance, Theatre Shed, Pilot Theatre and the National Youth dance Company. She regularly performs as part of Dew Dance Company and has danced in several music videos, fashion shoots, advertisements and Bollywood films.

Artist Biography:

An interdisciplinary artist, sound designer and founder of Cagney.org: a multimedia experiment synthesising new media with live community arts. Joe is a composer and videographer, using digital technology and devising techniques to create for theatre and film productions across England and internationally. Outside of these collaborations, Joe uses original production and archival sound to explore media’s role in forming memory and identity. Check out some of his recent work here.

Alexandros Paneris is a London based sound designer and multidisciplinary artist. Spending time between the ocean and forests on his home island Ikaria, Greece has cultivated the space for curiosity about the inner and outer worlds, and how best to connect the two realms. He is currently experimenting with colliding ambient and dance music elements together. Since graduating from Creative Music Production at ICMP, Alex is currently focused on exploring introspective spaces with textures and depth in sound design, alongside the communal connection found in dance music.
